Max for Helena Noetics..

Upcoming Helena events

Montana Noetics Community - Spring is exploding into summer and we are all giddy with the glory unfolding in Montana this time of year. Here's a reminder of some wonderful upcoming offerings, if you can stand to be indoors for short periods of time.  Anyone planning to come to Sandy Corcoran's experiential evening next Monday, be sure to bring a notebook, 3 questions for yourself, and a palm-size rock. For those outside of Helena, we have a few spaces to put people up in homes.

May/June Events

Greetings IONS Community,

Following is the schedule of IONS events for May and June.

MAY

Wade Davis, Anthropologist/Ethnobotanist - In Helena Thursday night

Hello Folks,

We have a great opportunity in Helena this Thursday:

The Lewis & Clark Library is bringing in noted speaker Wade Davis on Thursday, April 22, 2010. He will be speaking at the Carroll College Cube (Lower Commons) at 7 P.M. This event is free and open to the public.

Wade has spent some time with the "elder brotherhood" in South America. This is the same group as the Kogi indians in Columbia.

Pass the word!

Fun as a way to change human behavior

Helena Noetics Group  - Here is a site sponsored by Volkswagon that I think is brilliant. It was sent to me by a friend who is passionate about health care reform. The "Piano Stairs" are an inspired way to encourage more  exercise.  This website has 3 great examples of "thinking-out-of-the-box."

The questions to ask ourselves is, how can we make it fun? Who knows, fun may be as powerful a motivator as fear, with much happier results.

Still room in Signature Cell workshop

This will be last minute to those outside Helena, but there still is room this weekend in the Signature Cell Healing workshop with Rev Mel Morishige. Rev Mel gave a public talk last night to the Helena IONS groups and others. It was very well received.

Janet wanted people to know they can just show up at 9 and register for this wonderful opportunity to work with a special person.  There is a link to the full brochure at the helenanoetics.com website.

Awakening the Dreamer outside Missoula

Montana Noetics Folks - Here's another Awakening the Dreamer symposium that may be nearer to you. If you want to bring one to your community, contact these facilitators and they will do their best to bring a symposium to you.

Please join us this Saturday for Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium at Athanor Arts - Deborah Milton's home in Evaro (just north of Missoula).

Deb Milton's endorsement of Awakening the Dreamer

Helena Noetics Group - Here is an endorsement of the Awakening the Dreamer symposum that Deborah Milton sent out. I am passing it on for those of you who are not on her list. Deborah lives on the Salish Kootenai Reservation, and deeply understands indigenous wisdom, and the significance of this cross-culture partnership. She is also a wonderful presenter, and I am thrilled that she has already trained as a facilitator, since she ojnly did the symposium last fall. This is a big wave.
